HANALEI, KAUAI (January 28, 2011) – Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty has added four new real estate sales associates to their professional team. Hired over the past two months are Lisa Downer (R), Chris Ordonez (R), Paul Pacuilla (R), and Bruce Whale (RA). Each brings a different background, appealing to customer interests in commercial, residential and resort real estate, along with customer needs for design, building, governmental permitting and land use issues. The new additions expands Bali Hai Realty’s employee base to 23 licensed real estate professionals and three administrative staff.
Lisa Downer (R), on Kauai since 1998, began working in the real estate industry in 2004 incorporating her expertise in design, remodeling and new construction. Downer is also working toward her bachelor’s degree in design and architecture through the Academy of Art University. She will primarily be involved in residential sales. She also handles luxury services at Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty’s vacation rental division.
Chris Ordenez (R) recently moved to Kauai from Oahu where he was vice president of commercial brokerage and leasing for Coldwell Banker in Honolulu. Ordenez will be working in both commercial and residential real estate sales for Bali Hai Realty. He holds an e-Pro certification, along with a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. The e-Pro certification provides training for effective use of real estate technology. The CCIM Institute establishes recognition for expertise in commercial and investment real estate. The Urban Land Institute fosters a multi-disciplinary real estate forum covering a wide spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines.
Paul Pacuilla (R), on Kauai since 1996, has a background in high-end resort sales and management, entering into general real estate sales in 2010. Pacuilla was licensed in California as a general contractor in 1990, earning his real estate license there in 1992. The combination provided him with a strong background in both construction and sales. After moving to Kauai, he earned his Hawaii broker’s license in 1996 and has worked and lived in the Lihue area, the South Shore and, for the past eight years, the North Shore.
Bruce Whale (RA), originally from South Africa moved to Kauai eight years ago. He has a background in advertising, photography, sales and marketing. Bruce, additionally, is the owner of Kohola Designs, Inc., managing design, permitting and construction of residential homes. He also has experience and an in-depth understanding of the county regulatory processes, including permitting and land use issues, particularly for sensitively zoned areas.
