The Bali Hai Ohana was at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen yesterday for our semi-annual volunteer day to assist with cooking and serving lunch as well as cleaning up. We had a happy crew ready to go to work with Nick Gotelaere R(S), Chris Meredith, Melinda Kelley and me, Christopher Ordonez R(B).

We found Char Lontoc, who manages the Soup Kitchen, getting ready to prepare the day’s lunch. On the menu was squid lau lau served with rice, tuna mac salad and a hard boiled egg for additional protein.
