Hanalei Bay is the place to be Saturday, July 25th for the annual Namolokama O’Hanalei Canoe Club Hanalei Bay Swim Challenge!
If you love to swim or just want to challenge yourself, head over to Hanalei Bay and participate in this wonderful event. From little kids to over the hill kids, there’s a distance for you – and there’s no better place to swim than beautiful Hanalei Bay!

On race day July 25th, 2015, day-of-race registration opens at 7 am on the beach by the Hanalei Bay Pier. Come early to line up as ALL registration will be stopped at 8:30 am, No exceptions! The first race (Keiki race) starts at 9:30am. The races, distances, and entry fees are:
• Pier for 8 & under / $10
• Pier for 12 & under / $10
• 1000 meters parallel to the beach for 19 & under/20-29/30-39/40-49/50-59/60-69/70+ / $40
• 3000 meters parallel to the beach for 19 & under/20-29/30-39/40-49/50-59/60-69/70+ / $40
First, second, and third place medals will be awarded to the men and women winners in each category. In keeping with a tradition that started with Dick and Barbara Smith, the founders of our race, each Keiki (child) who completes the race will receive a Special Ribbon.
