The Woody was involved…

For those of you that have ever driven by our office in Hanalei, you’ll notice that there is a Woody parked in front of our office. It’s a bright red 1948 International. You can’t miss it! We have a sign posted on the Woody that we accept donations for the Kauai Independent Food Bank.

A few months ago, Catherine Ngo, President and CEO of Central Pacific Bank, (CPB), Kevin Yoshida, Senior Vice President of CPB and Sheleah Masi, Branch Manager of CPB Kapaa stopped by our office. We had a great time with them and look forward to a long and successful relationship. During the course of the conversation, we talked about the Woody, which was parked in front of the office and has long been associated with Bali Hai. Catherine had never been to Hanalei, so John Ferry took them all out for a tour of Hanalei town in the Woody. They were delighted!

Well, Sheleah stopped by our office the other day and dropped off two checks for the Kauai Independent Food Bank – one from Central Pacific Bank and one from Catherine Ngo personally. Thank you so much! The Kauai Independent Food Bank thanks you. And the Woody thanks you, too!
