Sarah J. Bernston has been a Hanalei homeowner and Hanalei resident since 1983. She loves the Hanalei lifestyle.

Her hobbies include "all kine" water sports, running (Kauai Half Marathon 2009, Great Aloha Run and Ing Bay To Breakers) and spending time in her other favorite city by the bay, San Francisco. One of her favorite charities is the Kauai Humane Society.
